AmaZulu Head Coach, Joey Antipas is delighted to see his newest squad members slowly getting accustomed to life in the green and white donning club.
Left winger, Simphiwe Lumkwana (23) and right winger Moosa Moegamat Stellenboom (23) have been signed from Stenberg United on two year deals. Promising Zimbabwean central midfielder, Butholezwe Ncube (23) is the latest to sign on a season long deal with an option to keep.
The Coach had this to say about Moosa Moegamat Stellenboom: “Moosa is a pacey winger who’s not afraid to take on opponents. He can deliver quality crosses into the box and foots the bill as far the type of football we want to play,” said Antipas.
The 57 year old tactician says there are similarities in both the Stenberg United signings, Stellenboom and Lumkwana.
“Simphiwe is a busy and quality left winger that can produce crosses in the box,” he added.
On his Zimbabwean counterpart he said: “Butholezwe is a holding midfielder, a fighter and fiery type of player. He plays simple football and can break attacks with ease.”
”So far as it stands there’s a good response from all the players in the squad. They’re responding well. Burger Van De Merwe (Conditioning Coach) is taking them through hell and back but the response is encouraging from the players,” said Antipas.Share
