It’s all systems go in preparation for AmaZulu FC’s second round Absa Premiership opening clash against Orlando Pirates to be played at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Thursday, 23 January.
Tickets for this thriller of a match, which kicks off at 19h30, are now available at Computicket for R40 (adults) and R20 (children).
The Craig Rosslee (head coach) led Usuthu come into the match with 20 points under the belt and will face Pirates who currently have eight points with matches in hand just 5 days after an intense fixture against Supersport United at home.
AmaZulu PR & Communications Manager Philani Mabaso says the presence of the supporters in their numbers will be crucial if the KZN side is to repeat the first round’s feat of beating Pirates 1-0 at Orlando Stadium.
“It’s going to be an exciting match, that’s without a doubt and we need all our supporters, season ticket holders and even football lovers in general to come to the stadium and be behind the boys.
“To the people of Durban’s benefit it’s going to be the first league match in the province and knowing how both teams perform against one another it’s a match not to be missed,” said Mabaso.
Mabaso went on to also explain that there will be a team of promoters in and around the stadium to assist fans that are interested in signing up for the newly introduced Usuthu Funeral Plan.
