Usuthu will look to rekindle their past glory days in SA’s top-flight as the new Kappa playing jersey suggests, after it was revealed at the club’s awards function on Thursday, 24 July 2014.
According to technical sponsors Kappa the bottle green strip which carries the 82 year old club’s significant history, will also see the brand return to its V neck collar look and smaller Kappa Omini logo on the shoulders of the Jersey.
“From a technical perspective the fabric is a high gage, light and stretch knitted fabric, with 97% polyester and 3% spandex giving the player the perfect stretch and flexibility within the garment ensuring maximum performance.
“And the fabric composition is that of a Wicking, hydro way, dri-fit material, giving the player the perfect feel and comfort while out on the pitch,” said Kappa SA’s Ricky Joseph.
The KZN side has long been known to don the full green colours since existence as it was also when they lifted the 1992 Coca Cola Cup under former coach Clive Barker.
AmaZulu Marketing Manager, Lunga Sokhela urged the Usuthu faithful to purchase the new kit which is now available in stores.
Gagasi FM’s breakfast show presenter, Mzokoloko will join AmaZulu FC players at the public launch of the kit this Friday, 25 July at Durban’s Workshop Shopping Centre from 14h00 to 17h00.
Supporters will get a chance to buy the jersey at the Workshop’s Connexions store and at Studio 88 stores countrywide. Visitwww.amazulufc.net to check out the new 2014/15 AmaZulu FC/Kappa home kit.Share
