AmaZulu to assess Under 23 players

AmaZulu have invited a special group of Under 23 players that will be assessed by the technical team next week as the club begins their pre-season training.

Senior management member Peter O’Connor told the Usuthu website that the club has invited a special group of Under 23 players to prepare for the new season.

“We have been going around the province and the country looking for Under 23 players as it is part of the NFD rules.

“We have managed to find players and next week we have called all those players for assessment and our coaches will look at them and that is when we will see if we can sign some of them,” said O’Connor.

Although there have been rumors that the club might be returning to the PSL via the buying out of Black Aces’ top-flight franchise, O’Connor insisted that they are just focusing on training and cannot make comments about such.

“What I know is that the players are coming back for the pre-season training and we must be prepared to work hard and make sure that we meet our goals,” he said.

could you please release AYANDA DLAMINI from the team as he has nothing to offer, be it in the NFD or PSL?

He is one of the reasons the club got relegated.

I suggest Amazulu should spend money on salary for players rather than buying a club. With the talent of players around and those who showed dedication last season, Steve Barker knows who can do the job. We can come back without even losing a game. Give players money, just make them happy the club will be back in six month. Steve Barker knows his job and he showed us, give him all support and you will have a good smile at the end. Let’s didisappoint all our oppositions!!! Hebe! Usuthu! Hebe! Usuthu!
