AmaZulu sign Zambian striker

The club has moved in swiftly to secure the services of Zambian international striker Bornwell Mwape on a three year deal.

The 22 year old will only be linking up with Usuthu next season from Nchanga Rangers, according to General Manager Peter O’Connor.

“He is a young Zambian international striker which we’ve signed for next season and his contract begins on July 1st,” said O’Connor.

Mwape was part of the Chipolopolo squads for the 2013 Cosafa Cup as well as the 2013 Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.

He scored 13 league goals for Nkana FC during the 2013 season and was also prolific for the Zambian national team, scoring five goals last year.
