AmaZulu Sign Capetonian Youngster

AmaZulu have cast their net as far Stellenbosch in Cape Town in their latest and last signing in striker/rightwing Gavin Hammers after the transfer window closed yesterday.

The exciting to watch player from Glen Eagles FC described his move to Durban as a chance of a lifetime he would like to embrace with both hands.

“I am very excited for the opportunity and I’m looking forward to playing for AmaZulu,” the 19 year old says of joining ‘Usuthu’.

Head coach, Manqoba Mngqithi’s training session has in the past hosted the SAB League player but he had to leave after his assessment period was finished late last year.

Transfer Update
Still on AmaZulu transfer movements, long serving striker Dumisani Ngwenya joined National First Division side Dynamos on a loan deal. Midfielder Nhlanhla Zwane and striker Sandile Gumede joined promotion challenging Thanda Royal Zulu FC on loan deals.

Mkhonza AWOL

Defender, Siphiwe Mkhonza has been absent without leave at the club for a week and his future at the club hadn’t been decided at the close of business day on Monday.
