AmaZulu will look to come away with maximum points when they visit Polokwane City in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday at 6pm.

Usuthu will be eager to bounce back from defeat after going down 2-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns in their last league outing.

The result left the side in 16th on the Absa Premiership log with two points from five matches, which came in the form of a 0-0 home draw against Ajax Cape Town, as well as the 1-1 away draw against Orlando Pirates.

Craig Rosslee’s men will also be looking to improve their away record as they have only managed to pick up one point from three matches played on the road so far this season.

Their next three league opponents are Bidvest Wits (away), Chippa United (home) and Free State Stars (away).

Polokwane City on the other hand suffered a fourth successive league defeat when they were beaten 3-0 by Orlando Pirates in their last outing.

The Limpopo side, who will be led by new coach Kosta Papic, are yet to pick up a point from a home match this season.

Their next three league opponents are Mamelodi Sundowns (home), Bloemfontein Celtic and Bidvest Wits (both away).

Rise and Shine are placed 15th on the Absa Premiership log with three points from five matches.

In head-to-head stats, Polokwane and AmaZulu have met in just two previous league matches.

Both of those encounters took place last season, with the teams playing to a 1-1 draw in Limpopo before Usuthu won the return match in Durban 1-0.
