Former Free Stars player Sadat Akoriko said he will go all out when his side AmaZulu hosts his ex-club in a relegation dogfight on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The former Stars defender, who had just returned on Sunday from representing his national team Togo, said he is more than ready to battle it out against his former team.
“It will not be an easy match, they will be trying to get a win or a draw but we want nothing else but a win. I know they will be targeting me since I played for them for quite some time.
“When I enter the field wearing AmaZulu kit I will not even remember that I once played for them as my heart is with AmaZulu. We must be prepared to fight hard,” he said.
“It has been a great journey and it is always good playing for my country. I get to
learn new things from other players who are playing in bigger leagues and that always inspires me to be the best I could possibly be.
“The mood in the camp is great and everyone is talking about the match. We have no reason not to get the maximum points, we must use the home game advantage and not disappoint ourselves and our fans,” he said.Share
