Kasonga blogs on United match

“It’s not easy playing a side like Man U and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity so everybody was itching for a run. And I thought they all would be pleased with the performance irrespective of the result.

The coach had told us not to allow them too much room, communicate on the field and cover one another. We are very proud of how we held them out there. It is no secrete that going into the match people were expecting us to lose by 5-0 or something like that but we did our best.

Up against international stars like the likes of Dimitar Berbatov and the rest you’ll expect to be under pressure.

At the back there we understand each other, it was a good game overall and could’ve gone either way. We were unlucky to concede the goal in the first half and not score some of those chances we got.

Generally though I’m happy of our game everybody enjoyed the run. This is great for our game and before the league starts.
I think AmaZulu fans enjoyed the match too and I hope they can just stay behind the team like they’ve always done and we know we’re not going to disappoint them this season. We will push hard and set out to make them proud.

Yeah, i agree with you. you played your heart out especially from the 30th minutes onwards. At the begining one could sense some anxiety but then later overcame that. Its a game that we should have won infact given the opportunities. I urge you guys to go prune the finishing aspect of the game, then we will be ready for the new season. It was gud seeing you marking lethal man like Berbatov and Chicrto, HEEBEEEE!!!
