“Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instil in us - Hal Borland”.
One may always feel that change is full of surprises as no one knows whether the result of change will be good or bad, but one thing is certain change is imminent. Players may come and go in a team but the team will always remain.
AmaZulu football Club is known as one of the big clubs in the Absa Premier Soccer league and one of the oldest as well. Since the club was formed in 1932 a lot of changes have come to place to make the team what it is today. Currently the team has finished in position 7 in the 2011/2012 season after a long time.
Praise must go to the players, the training staff, coaches and management. But at the end of it all it is the players that do the last bit of the job on the field of play. Usuthu have released 4 of their players, Tamsanqa Sangweni, Stanton Lewis , Moses Chavula and Goal keeper Nhlanhla ‘Casillas’ Khuzwayo.

All the players had a fantastic role that they played in making the team reach the top 8 spot but does this mean without them the team will be weaker? No is the definite answer, football is a game where players rotate and exchange to give all players: even the upcoming developing ones a chance to do their bit to fly the team’s flag.
Julius Chirwa who holds the record for most appearances, Owen Nzimande who holds the record for most goals scored are some of the best players the team has ever had and they have come and gone with all due respect. Yet the team today contends competitively and is still the team to watch.
Change might be good and bad but remember that Usuthu are warriors who have a mission and no matter who has the responsibility to uphold that mission, it will be done with pride and the spirit of Usuthu. HEBE!!
