All teams have a diamond that shines in favour of the team from World class teams to development sides.
When one mentions the name Cristiano Ronaldo the first thought that comes into mind is Real Madrid. AmaZulufc.net went on to ask fans on their Facebook page if there is a player who is an icon of AmaZulu football club. The response was as follows:

The odds seem to be in-between Thamsanqa Sangweni and Ayanda Dlamini from the comments. Looking at Sangweni one can see that the young player is full of enthusiasm and is a promising talent for the future. He has played 15 games this season for Usuthu , 2 caps for the under 23 national side and a single cap for Bafana Bafana.
Very impressive for a defensive midfielder considering that he has 2 goals under his name and one of those goals being a contender for goal of the season.
Ayanda Dlamini on the other hand is a central striker who has featured 18 times for AmaZulu this season with 2 goals to show for it. One may argue in favour of the striker as he not only wants to score but also sets up goal scoring opportunities for team mates.
There might be a single player who performs best but it takes 11 players to make a great team and AmaZulu are doing just that. Their current performance sees them in 8th position with the aim of finishing in the top 8 bracket.
