Central defender Bukasa Belux Kasonga remains optimistic that AmaZulu are on course to finish within the top eight bracket despite their 1-0 home loss against Orlando Pirates on Wednesday night at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
“It wasn’t to be on the day but there was not much difference between us and Pirates. They just took their one chance well and scored which came from our own mistake at the back.
“We have to forget about this match now, and keep our heads high and make sure we get it right against Bloemfontein Celtics. We’re still the same hard working team that doesn’t give anything away easily,” said Belux.

The experienced defender’s sentiments were echoed by head Roger Palmgren in his post-match comments.
“Except for the goal we conceded I think we played well. Of course you can’t afford to make such mistakes at the back against a team like Pirates, and they protected the lead very well which is quite normal,” said Palmgren.
This Sunday, AmaZulu travel to the Free State to take on Bloemfontein Celtics in what promises to be a nail biting encounter. The match will be played at the Free State Stadium at 15h00.
