Usuthu terrorise Ajax again

The good form displayed by AmaZulu saw no stopping with a 4-2 away win at Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday evening.

The Urban Warriors started brightly as Brent Carelse and Terror Fanteni tested Tapuwa Kapini early on.

At the other end, Ayanda Dlamini drew a fine save from Sander Westerveld in the 23rd minute.

The visitors then took the lead 10 minutes later as Goodman Dlamini pounced from close range following indecision by Nazeer Allie after receiving a pass from Westerveld.

Matthew Booth hit back for the hosts when he squeezed a shot past Kapini in the 70th minute.

The lead was short-lived, though, as Tamsanqa Sangweni netted with a superb long-range free-kick soon after.

Ajax's woes were then compounded further following the dismissals of Granwald Scott and Fanteni in quick succession.

Goodman Dlamini then scored his second with seven minutes to go.

Allie responded as he bundled the ball over the line in the 89th minute.

However, Usuthu struck again in injury time via Joseph Lekata.
