It has not been a kind start to the second round of the season for AmaZulu. Despite some inspiring play by the Usuthu in their opening and second match against Mamelodi Sundowns and Free State Stars respectively, late goals by both oppositions deprive the KZN-based clubs of valuable points.

As it stands, Usuthu are five points out of the top-eight bracket. However, it should be noted that after 17 games, while 14 goals have been scored almost an equal number (13) of goals have been conceded. The balance between the goalscoring rate and the goal-conceding rate looks worrisome.

A more clinical performance will be required of the strikers for the team to break into the top eight and remain within that bracket, while things will need to be tightened a bit more at the back.

The KZN-based club will travel to Pretoria for the third encounter of the second round of the season against SuperSport United at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Saturday.

Have your say! Tell Usuthu, on their official website (www.AmaZulufc.net), what it is that you think should be done for the club to get back to its winning ways.

It is unfortunate that we are not winning the games as it is expected of us but we have no one to blame except ourselves. Zwane was given a chance to late on both games. On Sundowns game towards the last minutes of the game we were alive and I wonder why is Shipawu getting a raw deal in the club. Why are we not trying the youngsters who are not known. Last year you let Majoro to go and now this year we let Phasha to go and no replacement for these two players or replaced by youngster whom we are not using. What is the coach waiting for to let Donovan play. If I remember it very well Mihael Owen was of the same age in world cup and he excelled on the field. How are they going to get experience if not use or you want to loan them like the others. Try another combination coach to win games. Use youngsters with the experienced players. Use Mzimela now as our last line of defence becuase I dont know what is it that is special about Tapuwa Kapini. Bring back Brilliant Khuzwayo. Lastly I am asking you to plz change the formation and play 4 4 2 to win the games you can even use the 4 3 3. We are sick and tired of being laugh stock by others.

mr palmgren did a good job this weekend as we saw that the team played acceptoinally well, the team he had last week was indeed the team we want for amazulu.however the team is still short of one person and that person is mbongeni 'kati' mzimela , if he gives him a chance on their following game ,it is more likely that the opposing team wont stand a chance in scoring even a single goal and with kagiso senamela and mxolisi mayonga two goals are gauranteed for providing that he trians them well this week.

amazulu is our home as durbanites lets give them support people.

philile.
