With talks of climate change dominating news of late AmaZulu and Maritzburg United players also pledged support to saving electricity when they posed with the fast growing ‘Wonderbag’ before kickoff in the KZN derby.
Striker Ayanda Dlamini admitted to AmaZulufc.net he is not well clued on all methods of saving energy but says all households need to take the climate change seriously.
“Climate change affects everyone. How we use even water whether we waste it or not will have an impact in years to come because even the rich would suffer if water was to become extinct.
And the change in climate also that we see with the floods, also affects everyone. It is not only just the poor,” said the KwaCeza born man.
Spectators at the Moses Mabhida Stadium also got to take home free Wonderbags. The Wonderbag cooker is said to be a recommended fuel consumption reducer.
