AmaZulu sponsors Spar hosted a three day climate change educational conference in Durban this week.
The programme which ran from 3rd-6th October, hosted children between the ages of 10 -14 years, from all over Africa for the 2011 TUNZA African Children's Conference on the Environment to learn more about climate change and DIY methods of curbing global warming.
After two days of being educated about ways to care for the environment, the kids got to enjoy a walkabout the iconic home base of AmaZulu where they met the Usuthu players for a meet and greet at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Ever cheerful Tsweu Mokoro with teammates Alistair Wallis, Marc van Heerden, Bonginkosi Nxumalo and Bongani were happy to spend some time with the youngsters.

“For us as AmaZulu being part of an association with Spar, we were only happy to come and share some time in this initiative.
It highlights our understanding that caring for the environment, even us as football people affect everyone is a responsibility we must all take,” said AmaZulu PR & Communications Manager, Philani Mabaso.
