'Usuthu' attract diverse support

AmaZulu FC have continued to set trends by attracting a diverse, cosmopolitan crowd to their home matches.

In doing so, the Durban-based side are one of few PSL clubs to have maintained the spirit of the 2010 FIFA World Cup by drawing support from old and young, women and men plus all other sectors of the local community.

It's great to see more whites going to Usuthu games now. I remember travelling to King Zwelithini and Princess Magogo stadiums, and even the old Kings Park, in the late 1990's early 2000's and being the only white guy in the stadium. I knew loads of football fans, but none of them would ever think of supporting their local team - so the world cup I guess has been a great success, and all the clubs efforts and promotions are doing well!
