adidas, oficial technical sponsors of AmaZulu FC, are excited to reveal the adipower Predator®, the visionary football boot created to answer the demands of modern football. The 2011 version of the iconic Predator® incorporates unique technologies that make it the perfect boot for ultimate ball control.
The adipower Predator® features a re-engineered technology called ‘the Predator® Element’ which is the enabler for perfect ball handling.
“There is a new kind of player that requires a new kind of Predator® boot. These players are young, confident and have the skill and ability to shape games as they please. World-class players such as Nani (Manchester United FC), Xavi (FC Barcelona), Van Persie (Arsenal FC), Kaká (Real Madrid FC) and Gerrard (Liverpool FC) have tested and contributed valuable input into the development of the adipower Predator® and will debut the boot on pitches across the globe in May 2011.
In South Africa, Morgan Gould (SuperSport United) and Thanduyise Khuboni (Golden Arrows) are the leading adidas Predator icons who will wear the new Predator boot during their last PSL games on the 21st of May.
The new adipower Predator® football boot will be available at adidas own retail outlets as well as specialist stores worldwide from June 2011 in Sharp Blue/Electricity/Black.
