'Tha Dogg Barks': Focus on KZN sides

Kwa Zulu Natal clubs have it all to do this week, starting with AmaZulu heading back to King Shaka Airport to get onto the plane where they travel to take on Gavin Hunt’s Supersport United in Pretoria today.

This result will be a big pointer to who gets into the top 8. Maritzburg United have to turn a tough situation around and they will welcome Santos on Friday to the Harry Gwala Stadium.

Enerst Middendorp will no doubt want to take a trip to Nongoma to change the luck of his Maritzburg United team. Khulekani Madondo really impresses me with his all round abilities.

He is a player for the future and has an engine which enables him to get from box to box. They will need him to be at his best for this encounter.

Lamontville Golden Arrows will travel to Mpumalanga to take on Paul Dolezor’s team on Sunday. This team looks like they will take the plunge but if they pick up a win everything will look different. Dolezar likes a scrap and so does his two assistants Marc Bachelor and Shakes Kungoane.
