Phakamani Ngwane is the winner of the AmaZulu replica competition and says he will proudly wear it this Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium against Bloemfontein Celtics.
The Metro Policeman only started after the World Cup last year to follow local football and since then he has adopted the Dr Patrick Sokhela owned club as his favourite.
“I told myself that since I in KZN why not pay attention to what is closer to me and that’s how I got attracted to ‘Usuthu’. My son also had trials last year in the juniors but he didn’t make it,” said he said.
The Newlands West resident is also encouraged by the latest change in form of the green donning club but says a home win against Celtics is what will make supporters like him happy.
