Clive Barker and AmaZulu captain Pere Ariweriyai celebrated Heritage Day by being part of KwaMashu’s Heritage Youth Cup Celebrations on Friday.
Youngsters were gathered at KwaMashu C Playgrounds to catch a glimpse of the exciting football festivities which were smartly designed to educate them against the abuse of drugs, HIV Aids and wellness.
The lucky team on the day was Umlazi Boys who won the tournament by beating KwaMashu 3-1 to win a KZN Sport & Recreation sponsored playing kit.
United Sisters of KwaMashu who are a B-side of popular local team United Mothers won 2-1 in the ladies division.
AmaZulu Development coaches Lindani Mkhize (u-17 assistant) and Justice Mtshali (u-15) were also on the scene to look at any notable talents.
